Roosevelt Bouie Jr.
Director International Business Relations
International business relations - Fostering international business transactions. Consulting Italian entrepreneurs how to establish business in the United States, from initial start up to expanding their existing markets. In addition, I have worked supporting and consulting communities how to network and attract foreign businesses and investors. I am able to work closely with local Italian business associations. I developed knowledge of many different types of industries while living and playing basketball in Italy for several large Italian companies. The contacts I had made during that time period have proved invaluable.
Basketball
I played in the Italian League for more than 13 years. I remained in Europe for an additional 3 years. That is 16 years of living day to day life as an Italian. There are many differences between doing business with Italian Companies that you can only know by having lived that life. I understand completely the way the mechanisms work and the challenges facing Italian business leaders. Presently as General Manager of the Buffalo Stampede and US Coordinator for Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro ( Italian National Basketball Team ) I continue my work in Sports Management.
TV/Radio
As co-owner of a jazz/blues radio station in Syracuse, New York I gained experience in the media as well as sales experience. Understanding the overall operations of a radio station gave me insight to governmental regulations, and small business operations.
